And its forest is a great place for walks.

Between downtown Neuchâtel and the vineyards of Corcelles-Cormondrèche, the village of Peseux is a real little urban center, with its commercial, rental and residential areas, its parks and schools, but also its old village which is well worth a visit, before climbing towards the tennis court and the superb, immense forest which borders the locality, reaching as far as the Val-de-Ruz. The name Peseux apparently derives from the word "puits" (well), as one of Peseux's constant concerns was to obtain water, and wells were plentiful in the area.
